Interested in french cuisine? want to learn some basics? looking to share a friendly dinner in Paris area in a french home that will introduce you to the French lifestyle?
After visiting Versailles Palace, come at 6.00 pm, to Bertrand's home, on week-ends, to learn how to cook traditional and convivial dishes prepared with fresh vegetables and fruit from the Potager du Roi located just in front of Bertrand's home. Wine which is offered in the menu is selected by Bertrand's favorite wine shop "Aux Caves Royales" and fit perfectly with each seasonal menu. Attendees will also taste a selection of regional products provided by "Par Faim de Terroirs" shop located close by.
Classes are done in English or in French depending on the people who attend the class, and finish at 10.00 pm (at that time you can easily return to your hotel by public transportation - Bertrand's home is 10 minutes walk from the train station Versailles Rive Gauche-Chateau).
Bertrand also organise wine and cheese dinner on weekdays. French cheese and wine from Bertrand's favorite wine shop are served with fresh baguette bread and fruits. This is a good opportunity to share a dinner in a french home. These wine and cheese dinners start at 8.00 pm and finish at 10.00pm. A pdf cook book containing all the recipes learnt at La Cuisine de Bertrand is being written and will be offered to all attendees.
Quiche lorraine, parmentier, beef burgundy, coq au vin, Tatin tart , crepes ... will no longer be a secret for you!
